The Council’s Tourism, Leisure and Amenities Advisory Committee is responsible for co-ordinating, discussing and advising the Town Council on such matters as affect the provision and promotion of tourism, leisure and other amenities in Ware.

The Committee consists of six members of Ware Town Council and 16 representatives from organisations and voluntary bodies within the town. For a full list of representatives click here. Together the Committee promotes, encourages and facilitates tourism, sport, leisure and cultural facilities and all organisations connected therewith.

The Committee is considering a range of initiatives including a community toilet scheme which enables local pubs to work together with the Town Council to make their toilets available to the public; improvements to street furniture; town centre enhancements and the Tudor Square landscaping proposals
