Local Grants
Ware Town Council is proud of its tradition of supporting local organisations in the town through its Grant Fund. Each year we award grants to local groups, clubs and societies.
The Council was able to continue its grants programme during the pandemic and c.£30,000 was given to local organisations during the 2021/22 financial year. This included Covid-related grants to help support groups during this difficult time.
During 2022/23 the town council allocated over £32,000.
In 2023/24, extra budget was put towards the community grants scheme with £53,450 awarded.
In the most recent financial year of 2024/25, £87,400 was set aside. This includes the discretionary grants listed below, other capital grants and ongoing contributions to Ware volunteer-run organisations.
Please fill out the online application form if you are looking for funds for your group (a copy of your latest published accounts may be required).
